My Magical Romance (Chapter 5)

We arrived at the school late in the evening. I stood there with open mouth and wide eyes, staring at the huge castle which was the school. Our stuff was brought there by carriages.

"Dude, flies gonna fly into your mouth if you stay like this." Mikey said behind me. I turned to face him.

"How do we get there? There's a lake all around it." I asked him.

"Everybody get here. A boat has space for four people." Hagrid shouted.

"What, we gonna get there with a boat?" Mikey asked.

"Do you have a problem with boats?" I replied.

"Well, the thing is I can't swim. What if I fall out somehow?" he mumbled and blushed.

"I gonna safe you." I said smiling and he nodded. We walked over to Hagrid and climbed into a boat.

"Hey, are you waiting for somebody or can we get in a boat with you two?" a red haired girl asked. A boy with black hair stood behind her.

"Sure, get in. I'm Frank Iero and this is Mikey Way." Mikey just waved a 'Hi'.

"I'm Lily Potter, nice to meet you." she said and climbed in.

"Erm... I'm Liam Jones." the boy said with a strange voice. His eyes seemed to be dark red. He climbed into the boat to join us.

"Everybody's in a boat now?" Hagrid screamed and looked around. "Okay, then everybody take a paddle from the boat and let's go!"

We paddled around in circles for two minutes and Lily and I laughed all the time about our paddle skills, Mikey looked around in fear. And Liam just stared at me like I was something to eat. Somehow we managed to get to the castle but only a few meters away from the coast Mikey fell into the water.

"Frank! Help me!" he jelled in panic.

"Don't help him. One person less who is stealing points from Slytherin." Liam said cold.

"What if he gets into Slytherin? Then there's one person less who get's points for them." Lily replied.

I rolled my eyes at them and jumped into the water. 'Whoa! Damn, that shit is cold!' I thought.

"Help!" Mikey said again. I dived down and saw that something was tangled around his leg. I got up again.

"There's something around your leg. I gonna get it away. Just stay over water." I said and went down again to get his leg free.

As soon as he was free I swam so that he could hold on my back. I swam to the coast and put him down on the sand. Lily and Liam paddled to us with the boat.

"So you finally got here. I got worried about you four. Come on, let's go. Everybody else is already at the school." Hagrid said and walked up a long path of stairs which seemed to never come to an end. We followed him right away.

"Why didn't Gerard, Ray and Bob come with us?" I asked.

"Are they starting this year?" Hagrid asked.

"No, they're in second year." Mikey answered.

"Then they got there with the carriages."

We finally reached the top of the stairs and I just wanted to lie down and sleep in the grass. I lied down on the ground and hit my head on a stone.

Liam stared at me and licked his lips. I felt blood seek through my hair and down to my neck. His eyes got glowing red and he walked over to me slowly before jumping on top of me and biting my neck. I felt him suck blood out of the small holes in my throat.

Suddenly it was gone. Hagrid was holding Liam tight but he tried to escape and showed his long canines. He looked like he was a vampire. Then it hit me. 'Fuck! He IS a vampire.'

"You two, get him to the nurse. I'll show you the way since I have to get the vampire boy there too." Hagrid said and started walking towards the school. Mikey and Lily helped me up and Lily pulled a little bottle out of her jacket.

"Lean your head sideways so I can get to the wound. This is gonna hurt a bit." I did as I was told and 'DAMN! THAT STUFF BURNS LIKE HELL!'

"What the hell is this?" I hissed.

"That is a disinfectant. Sorry that it burns." Lily said.

After about two minutes it stopped burning and the wound started to close.

"Mikey, Frank? Why are you two still out here?" Gerard said.

"Gee!" Mikey squealed and hugged him.

"I'm happy to see you too Mikey, but what happened?" he asked.

"At first we had problems with paddling, then Mikey fell into the lake and I had to safe him and now that vampire psycho bit me. See?" I said pointing at the wound.
